A vertical silvery sea
Capitalising on its seafront setting, the four 21-storey towers at Silversea are sheathed in glass to give floor-to-ceiling views of the sea.
The façade alludes to a vertical glistening sea. This concept is accentuated by balconies in graceful wave-forms, animating the entire development with a sculptural effect that is visible to drivers along the East Coast Parkway. Rising from the green landscape above an environmental deck, the glimmering waves of the balconies lend a striking look to the towers as the sunrays are reflected at different angles. In addition, the balconies offer a panoramic view of the sea and the possibility to engage with nature even high up above the ground. Sky promenades, each linking two buildings, stretch across the span of the 11th floor to present a magnificent view of the sea.
Based on a coastal lifestyle concept, the landscape design is planned around different landscape themes and pavilions that offer a range of activities catering to a wide spectrum of users, ranging from families with young children to professionals and singles. Taking inspiration from its setting, the landscape embraces a spine of pools along its coastal edge. Two 50-metre pools create a visual spectacle of an endless waterscape, while a lagoon pool was designed with a realistic-looking sandy beach. The pool is surrounded by decks and palm trees adding to the tropical ambience. The interconnected pools allow users to experience, discover and interact with the landscape in many ways
